how to scale hikes and what to bring?
hii im starting out with hiking and im really unsure on what to wear and bring on diff hikes. i think im gonna start with mt jo in the adks and sams point (out to the falls) or gertrudes nose in minnewaska since people say those are pretty easy trails and like 4-5 hours and for me thats not really a shortt hike i need advice on what to wear and bring!
am i gonna need to buy hiking boots? i have sneakers and stuff idk if thats gonna be ok! what do i wear for the summer time? will i need to buy hiking clothes and a hiking backpack and gear?
