Content design, freelancing for the beginners, average payment
I've been working as a content designer for three months (I design a template for Instagram), and I also write captions and hashtags. I work mostly for American clients, and I live in the Balkans. Since I'm completely new to this, I have no insight into how much money American clients pay their designers on average per month. I work for the boss, his company is not registered, and I feel that I get paid a pittance for the amount of time and effort I put in.
Can someone advise me on what to do, how to reach my clients myself, how to start freelancing, on which platforms it is done and what I need for presentation? I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, master, but I just started learning photoshop, illustrator and blender. Do I need to create a portfolio for each program? I can also make a portfolio of my artworks, but I don't know if anyone looks at it and if it can be of help to me.
