Standalone Billionaire Contemporary Romance
*Brady*
I don’t have time to be at this anniversary celebration. I’m CEO of the largest multi-media conglomerate in the United States and my granddad says I’m supposed to sit back, take it easy, and oh, figure out who’s embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from our company.
That’s not the only reason why I don’t want to be here.
Seeing my best friend’s ugly duckling little sister after ten years is something I don’t need to add to the list.
Except, Allegra grew up and she’s gorgeous, and she won’t give me the time of day because of something I said to her when we were kids.
I need her help figuring out who’s stealing from the company and working with her makes me regret how I treated her. How was I supposed to know I’d fall in love?

I’ve been in love with Brady my whole life.
The vile comment he made when I was fifteen didn’t change that—it only made me ashamed I could still feel something for him after he broke my heart.
I’m pretty now. Pretty enough for Brady Benson, CEO, and arrogant model-dating billionaire, but I’m not interested in his empty apologies.
He’s still just as shallow as he ever was.
He says he loves me, but can I forgive him for what he said and take my place in the company?
Can I trust him not to break my heart again?
