I dyed yarn in a way it will knit up to form tiny tennis balls on a gravel court
The technique is called ‘assigned pooling’ and I’ve been experimenting with it for about a year now. Basically you just knit your basic stitch (for most people that’s stockinette stitch) and when your yarn changes colour, you do a little texture stitch, in this case a little bobble.
