How to get feedback?

Hey,

I want to know if my kid still enjoys being my kid. Like if they're happy. How do I get my prenting review from the most important stakeholder and enduser, without making them self conscious? Not sure how else to put it, but I wanna know, with everything going on around, if they're happy.
