Hi so need advice as I’m starting to pick out materials for my bathroom reno. For context I’m in middlesex county NJ and have a 2 bath house built in I think the 1950s. We went to Kohler today to pick out a tub and some fixtures for the shower and we found out that it’s NJ law now that in order to have decent water pressure we would have to install thermostatic valves? If not the pressure would be different than what we have. I’m just confused if this is needed? We’ve replaced our shower head using a regular setup previously and it seemed fine?
Just wanted to hear everyone’s opinion if they do have the thermostatic setup and if it’s worth it? #home source
