Christmas Market suggestions for 2026
Hey guys!
I’m a student studying in the Netherlands, and I’m planning to visit Germany before Christmas this year, probably around the 20th–23rd or something like that. I’d love some suggestions!
Ideally, I’d like to stay towards the western side of Germany so that travelling there and back is relatively easy. This is why Dresden is probably out, even though from what I’ve heard, it’s kind of the epitome of Christmas markets.
Also, are there any historical places, like castles, that have Christmas markets or similar events? That would be especially interesting to me!
