Waterproofing Cove Joint in basement Im finishing my basement and the Cove Joint (where floor meets wall). Has leaked very rarely in tiny amounts after excessive amounts of rain. I don’t foresee it being a problem but want to avoid any before they happen….my thoughts were….. It says online not to caulk it but should I just do it? Or should I take a vapor barrier and put it on my wall and run it down under the framing and out a few feet to the floor so that if it leaks the small puddle sticks under the plastic. I will be putting flooring down. Any other suggestions would be amazing as well. Thanks for the help!!!
