Installing recessed lighting for high ceiling only from attic side
I've installed recessed lighting without issue for my second story bedrooms and am wanting to install it for my living room. The only thing is the living room is 18 to 20 feet high and I'm not wanting to rent a large ladder or scaffolding. I was thinking of just doing everything from the attic side. Once I make my hole from the attic side, I was planning on just dropping a rope and bringing up the lights that way. This should work right?

Lantern Staff Help Needed
I have an 8 foot long PVC pipe with a 2 inch diameter and am using it for a staff. It is going to be wrapped in a fake wood park texturing with a soft faux leather back. How should I attach the PVC pipe and the wood texture, this is meant for a cosplay and will be used to walk around. I've tried Google but answers are mixed

Retractable net for garage door?
I have a pole building with cement floor and a 16' wide garage door. During the day the door is often left open for ease of access, extra light, and/or a breeze. The issue I'm having is we have a chicken coop nearby and the chickens are constantly coming in and pooping all over the floor. I'm looking for ideas that would keep the chickens out but allow you to walk in and out easily as well as getting tractors and other vehicles in and out. The closest thing I've found so far is a retractable net meant for either keeping dogs in a garage or keeping balls from going into the street. I think that will work but they are about 3' tall and I'd prefer something shorter that I can step over. I've considered building a wooden gate that folds down but in order to be strong enough it will need to be at least 2" think which will be annoying to drive over. Any better ideas?
