Going back through some of my older solar images and found this one from May 30, 2024.
The full sun H-alpha image showing some nice surface detail, active regions and filaments across the surface. It’s interesting looking back at an image from more than two years ago now, especially after spending a lot more time recently working on solar imaging and timelapses.
I’m still pretty happy with this one. There’s a surprising amount going on across the surface once you start looking closely.
**Equipment:** • Lunt LS50T H-alpha solar telescope • ZWO ASI224MC camera
