how the hell do I stop coming on so strong

I am a generally happy, curious, and excited person. when meeting new people, I tend to get attached too fast and assume they are the same as me. I ask a lot about them and only realize after texting them, sending them tiktok videos, or asking them to hop online and play games with our mutual friends and recieving either no response, a late one, or a dry one, that maybe, I am coming off way too strong. literally how the fuck do I stop doing this? I have intense mood swings. i get home from work, send a goofy text to our groupchat, and after a day of dead silence, become immensely depressed. obviously since that is the geekiest thing ever, I have not told them about this. i just don't want to come off as a weirdo even though they most likely already think I am. it's not like I have bad intentions, I'm not gonna pull up to their damn HOUSE or follow their sister on Facebook, I'm just curious. if they asked me a bunch of questions I'd answer in an instant.

It was also a relief for me when I got to know my manager. he's the same way I am. - "how are you? I haven't seen you in a bit. how have your classes been? what do you like most about them? what's the hardest part? that sounds fun. oh, what have I been up to? well..." and so on and so forth. So, maybe I just need to get some more friends who love oversharing like I do. I just feel like I can't help it! I love knowing about people. I love having conversations and getting people gifts and being social!

whatever. anyways, how do I STOP?
