One funny excuse I would use is:
"Sorry I couldn't come to your invitation. I was all ready to leave, but my slippers suddenly decided they needed a day off. Every time I took a step, they refused to cooperate, so I had to stay home!" 😂
I think this excuse deserves the 🥇 Gold Medal because it's original, funny, family-friendly, and sure to make people smile.
I believe my entry should be rewarded because I created a unique excuse that spreads laughter without hurting anyone.
