Cross Country Road Trip Stops
Taking the highlighted route as from my preliminary research there's a bit more to do, but looking for ideas to help break the trip up. Deviations from the route are acceptable.
Options we already found in no particular order:
* Indiana Dunes National Park
* Milwaukee + Madison (instead of just Madison)
* Green Giant Statue
* Corn Palace
* Presque Island State Park
* Badlands National Park
* Black Hills National Forest
* Mt Rushmore
* Yellowstone National Park (Deviation, spend an extra day here)
We like parks, places we can stop and do a quick walk/hike to stretch, and silly landmarks (see green giant). Ideally we do this trip in 7 days so most stops would be pretty quick, only a few hours. Thanks!
