I edited the Artemis II Solar Eclipse photo into the perfect desktop wallpaper - OLED friendly!
I lightly touched-up the iconic Solar Eclipse photo (my favorite) into a wallpaper, especially suitable for OLED screen.
Using GIMP, I brought the black-level down to perfect black for the moon's darkness, raised the mid-level just a bit, and manually removed the camera artifacts visible in the moon's disc with the color dropper tool and pencil on each pixel, for a perfectly inky black effect.
I see a lot of people who go overboard with their edits, and I think the photos are near-perfect just as they are. It only needed a little correction to make for a perfect OLED wallpaper.
