Planning a 12 day Road trip, is this realistic?
Hey so im planning my first solo road trip, might invite some buddies but this is basically my plan. In around late May or early June for 12 days, im thinking of going from Long Island to Cuyahoga, Indiana Dunes, Sioux Falls, Badlands, Worland, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Chyenne, Ohama, Chicago, Pittsburgh, then going home. Besides the National Parks I dont plan on exactly staying in each city just the general area, trying to limit myself to max 8 and a half hours driving as my first solo trip (ive driven up to acadia and up to st johns with my ex from nyc) and other ~4 hour drives max. Just want to know if this is biting off more than i can chew. If anyone has any recommendations, tips, warnings etc let me know Im very excited to plan this out! Also planning on camping in Yellowstone and Teton. P.S im debating switching the part of the trip to YS and GT with a two day camping trip in Glacier NP so any opinions on that is also welcomed, thanks!
