●allied Crusader army of Hungarian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Wallachian, Polish, French, Burgundian, German, English, Knights Hospitaller, Iberian, Italian, Bohemian, Serbian and Byzantine troops (assisted by the Venetian navy) numbering about 16,000 against 15,000
●end of the Second Bulgarian Empire
● French surrendering and throwing themselves in the ground for mercy.
●Transylvanians and Wallancians calling it a day and retreating
●Hungary charging in thinking they've won
●Turks received 1500 Serbian Knights under Stefan Lazarevic who fought against his brother in law fighting in Sigismund's side
●Germans desperately tried not to get encircled by Turks
●Those under 20 were taken as slaves and rest got decapitated or lost their limbs
●Hungarian King fled as they saw the aftermath of the battle
●The King of Hungary took 27 years to pay back ransom for the captives
●Greatly discouraged the formation of future coalition and crusades against the Ottomans until 1440s.
