Local resident, Joe A. Rivas, and toy & action figure collector in Denton, Texas explores a popular museum for all kids of all ages. "As a kid, toys and action figures gave me physical therapy to gain muscle control over my body. As a young boy with cerebral palsy, I needed toys to give me strength to exercise my fine motor skills. We were a poor family with little money, but toys gave me the opportunity to dream. As an adult, I see the benefits of toys and action figures. They are more than just play items for children. They are works of art created by makers that put precious time and energy in this crafts." My love and appreciation for toys and action figures has given me opportunities to explore toys throughout Denton and the Denton Square. In this video, I had to expand my exploration to explore the history of toys and action figures. My exploration at the Toy & Action Figures Museum in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma has given me a complete understanding of toys and the value they bring to children and adult collectors. Walk with me as I explore the best toy & action figure museum in Oklahoma.The Toy and Action Figure Museum is truly a museum for all kids! The museum first opened in October of 2005 in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma by toy and action figure collector, Kevin Stark. Being a small-time collector of Star Wars toys and action figures, I was grateful to get the opportunity to tour Kevin's collections of great toys and action figures. This museum is a gem in the rough because it represents every child's dreams. Toys and action figures are what gives children hope to pursue future goals and aspirations. Whether children grow up in wealth or poverty, toys and action figures gives all kids the power to imagine their lives in new worlds. Kevin Stark maintain the art of making toys and action figures in his youthful vision for expanding the Toy and Action Figure Museum into its new future location.
