Happy Tuesday Everyone 👋
Last week, on our way to the West Coast , we decided to take the back roads through Durbanville.
And what a beautiful detour it turned out to be. 💛
Driving past the Canola fields, with those endless splashes of yellow stretching across the landscape, reminded me that sometimes the best part of a journey is the road you didn’t plan to take.
No rush. No busy highways. Just open fields, beautiful Cape scenery and that wonderful feeling of being on the way somewhere.

For the longest time, I always wondered what those beautiful yellow flowers were in the fields. Then my daughter told me they were canola flowers. I had no idea😅
