Hello all, I am looking for advice on choosing the right backpack. So far i have used McKinley(summer hikes) and Ortovox free rider 26s for ski touring. However i have an upcoming hut to hut summer hiking which includes glacier crossing so i would need to include a rope, a few carabiners, crampons(which weigh like 1kg). I could use the free rider but i am afraid i will get too hot and also that it is too heavy since i don’t need all the accessories that come with it which are meant to be used for skiing gear. Just to mention I am very light(45kg), female so weight is an important factor. Besides the equipment i will pack as light as possible with a few t shirts and down jacket. I came across a fjallraven abisko hike foldsack 25l which seemed pretty light but i am not sure how comfortable that would be with this kind of equipment since the back support and straps didn’t look like much. Has anyone used it for this kind of hiking for multiple hours and significant weight? Also what are some other options i should consider? Thanks⛰️ #hiking #activity
