I never had proper studies in Piano. I did study a ton of harmony to be a music producer that not only makes “beats” but also understand the science and the language of music. A couple of years ago I started using the keyboard as my main and fastest way of recording midi… I never called myself a pianist, because truly my main things is production…
I been having a very independent and over-ambitious life where I been moving around the world to pursue my ambitions and sometimes that gets you alone, far from family and far from friends… And I started using the piano as my therapy method because truly not many therapists or my people understands the career path or decisions I take…
Im not good at playing songs in the piano, I mostly improvise what I feel, I just sit down and channel what I feel with the “tools” I been learning from self exploring it.
In a blink of an eye now Im doing concerts of Piano where I just “read the room” and play what I channel, and it’s been a huge opportunity and experience for my career.
Today the piano is such an important thing in my life and Im happy its part of who I am today. Don’t ever quit playing, because the piano itself is going to teach you more about yourself than you can imagine…
