Am I really that far behind ?
I’ve been playing piano for around 8 years, I started when I was 10 or so, I have been studying voice at the same time and deeply love both. I have had so many vocal concerts, master classes and lessons but I’ve only studied piano with 1 teacher and a few lessons with another at a local conservatory last year. I auditioned for Bmus at my university but didn’t make it in for piano, am I really that far behind ? I’m currently working on RCM level 10 which I’ll have done by the winter. I know I started late compared to others but what will it take to reach that competitive level ?
