Espadang Bato is a rock formation located in the mountains of Barangay Mascap, Rodriguez, Rizal in the Philippines. It gets its name “espada” (Filipino word for sword) from the rock formation that looks like a sword. We hiked through a full-on storm, and as we reached the summit, the weather cleared as if the mountains rewarded us for pushing through.
