Is there a way to confirm what FPS your monitor is actually outputting?

I had to get a new DisplayPort cable because the old one was too short after I moved my monitor to a higher shelf. I noticed too late that the cable is only rated for 144hz for 2K and up.

So is my display outputting 240FPS as it should or 144? How can I check?
