how do apologists defend the fact that islamic law explicitly treats captured women as sexual property?
HOW WAS SLEEPING WITH MARRIED WOMEN OK DURING WAR??? 🤢
back then capturing non muslim women in war automatically terminates their marriage, legally converting them into property that can be sxxually accessed by their captors once they are verified not to be pregnant
they were categorized as ghanima (spoils of war) like no different than captured horses, weapons or gold because the captive woman was now legally defined as property (those whom your right hands possess) and yes this is in the qur'an
so her previous life consent and existing marriage were viewed as entirely erased cuz of the conquest
her body being distributed to the victorious soldiers 🤮
and also yes, no hadith scholar could answer this for me, no interpretations or justifications saved it for me
