Good morning my fabulous friends! 🌞 How are you all doing? Happy Thursday!
I’m heading out even earlier today for my social duties, yes, adulting is calling again. 😄 Since I’ll already be in the North of the island, just after, I might sneak in a little visit to Exotica, you know, just to “have a look”, which usually means coming back emotionally attached to at least three plants. 🌿😍
Before I rush off, here’s a little conversation I imagine might happen there:
🌱 Me: Oh wow, you’re beautiful! Do you require a lot of care?
🌿 Plant: Not at all, just sunlight, the right humidity, filtered water, emotional support, and daily compliments.
🌱 Me: Sounds reasonable.
🌵 Cactus (interrupting): Don’t listen to them. I thrive on neglect and sarcasm.
🌿 Fancy Plant: Excuse me, some of us have standards.
🌱 Me: I feel like I’ve just walked into plant drama.
🌸 Flower: Take me home, I’ll brighten your life.
🌵 Cactus: Take me. I’ll judge you silently.
And that’s how I will probably end up leaving with plants I didn’t plan for. 😄
