How do I remove 2" of extra caulk smeared around the entire tub?
Previous owners "remodeled" the entire bathroom themselves, which looked "fine" in the early days but the longer we've lived here the more we realize what a mess it is. I assumed it was soap scum when we looked at the house but soon realized whoever did the caulk just smeared an extra 2 inches all the way around. Like they wiped their finger all the way around the edge, above where the caulk should go. I need to strip it out and replace it because it's mildewing in all the spaces and bubbles they left, but is there any way to remove the excess from the tile?
