Popular opinion I don’t agree with: In my society, a common belief is that success means having a lot of money.
I don’t agree with this because success is much deeper than just financial wealth. Money can provide comfort, but it doesn’t guarantee happiness, peace, or fulfillment. I’ve seen people who have everything materially but still feel empty inside. True success, to me, is about having purpose, strong relationships, and inner peace. It’s about waking up feeling content with who you are and what you’re doing. Also, not everyone follows the same path—some people choose passion, service, or creativity over money, and that should still be respected as success. When we define success only by money, we ignore the value of character, kindness, and personal growth. I believe success should be measured by the impact you make and the life you build, not just what you earn.
