Looking to make a walking stick
I’m looking to make a 2 piece walking stick for hiking. I need some help/instruction. I would like the 2 pieces to screw together like a pool cue. And I would like a good sturdy hardwood. Something that would also look good when sealed. No fancy cuts or designs, just a plain stick. No idea where to look for wood blanks and the screw connections. Also need input on how to seal. Linseed oil or poly or something else. Thanks for any input.
