Great question! There are multiple definition, mostly putting the art activities in timeframe, generally it is considered the art after the 1960s till today.
Since I received some interesting comments, I'll come with some aticles in the future about this.

i never understood the difference between art and #contemporaryart . is it just 2deep4me?

If i had to guess what's 'hip' right now: it would probably be a printer that only prints with period blood, and exclusively AI replications of artists that tried to block AI from using their art.

, this is a great approach! As many definitions and arguing are about the term - I think it isn't so clear for some professionals as well. It might be that not everything in contemporary art will remain art in the long run. And this is a fascinating question.

Your concept what you described here ... is quite interesting!
