Companies offer leftover food that they give away for little money.
We had breakfast today (for two people) and only paid 8 euros for it. (For comparison: if you go for breakfast here, you pay around 20-25 euros for two people). We didn't manage to eat everything... (more for the next days) π± π₯°

You get what's left. Depending on what is available, you can also choose. You then have to pick it up.

Wow that's a lot of food! My breakfast is usually a couple of fried eggs, toast, sausage, or bacon at the most. Half the time I skip breakfast.

Yeah.... Rollmops is Rollmops, I think... lol Yes, many restaurants and companies in our region are taking part. There are also main courses or sandwiches and donuts, etc. at petrol stations. It's a great initiative.
