Anyone using the DeWalt 735 planer with the helical cutting head addition?
I ordered one of the helical cutter heads for my DeWalt 735 planer a while back and still haven't gotten around to installing it. It's still sitting in the unopened box. (I moved into a fixer upper house last year, and just haven't found the time yet....almost there.)
But lately I've been wondering if it's really worth it. Like does it really perform as well as the Youtubers lead you to believe?
So my question is does anyone have any experience with this? Like have you done the refit and was it worth the money and effort? I saw a video recently claiming the planer doesn't do well, bogs down and trips the internal breaker because the motor just doesn't have the power.
