Good 25–30L hiking daypack for rocky, uneven trails?
Hey everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a good hiking daypack in the 25L to 30L range.
My main priorities are comfort for longer day hikes, a sturdy and durable build, and a good fit with solid support when carrying a typical day-hike load.
A lot of the trails I do are not very well defined and often involve going over rocky, uneven terrain, so I want something that stays stable on my back and feels secure when moving through rougher sections.
I’m not looking for anything ultralight if that means giving up comfort or durability. I’d rather have a backpack that feels solid, carries well, and will last.
I’m open to different brands and price ranges. Bonus points if it has good back ventilation, easy water access, and enough organization without being overcomplicated.
What models would you recommend, and why?
