My washer and dryer don’t fit in my new house. Suggestions?
It is a hallway laundry space. We didn’t realize how small it was until we got in. The washer is in there now, but the dryer is a problem.
The vent hose is on the left side of the dryer, and the dryer exit is far right of the dryer. There’s about a 2” gap between the dryer and the back of the wall.
I got one of those right angle extensions, but that barely fixed the issue. It’s functional now, but the dryer sits about 3” in front of the washer and it looks ugly/will be a pain the clean out the ducts annually.
The only solution I can think of is to re work the duct system through the drywall. But I really don’t want to do that.
Any suggestions other than buying smaller units?
