How are these window quotes?
Looking to replace nearly century-old windows in my house with something modern. A local dealer who comes extremely highly recommended gave an estimate with two options of window manufacturers. These seem like really reasonable estimates but I’d love a gut check.
FWIW I live in the mid-Atlantic in a pretty HCOL area.
Option 1:
\- 14 ProVia Endures, black with colonial grids
\- double pane, low E coatings (DLA), graphite foam insulation
\- 6 of them have STC panes to reduce noise
$16,676
Option 2:
\- 14 Sunrise Restorations 5500, black with grids
\- Ultra U Plus Package, double pane, low E, polyurethane foam insulation
\- same number of STC windows for noise
$15,550
