well I have lived all over, and the reality is that walmart does have great beef, black angus, they also have some prime beef. keep in mind: USDA Prime beef is the highest quality grade assigned by the USDA, representing the top 3–5% of U.S. beef, characterized by abundant intramuscular marbling, superior tenderness, and rich flavor. It is primarily sourced from young, well-fed cattle and is ideal for dry-heat cooking methods like grilling or roasting, commonly served in high-end steakhouses. walmart also gaurantees their beef. when I was idaho last winter I was at a bull auction, and met a guy that was bidding on a 69,000 bull! anyways he is a big black angus farmer, and he raises quality beef and guess what? he sells most of it to walmart. I buy walmart beef. 99% of the beef I buy is from walmart. and see I prefer to go walmart in search of beef right at 6am when they open! this is when you can get the beef up to 50% off because the date on the package says last sale date TODAY. this month I have probably eaten 4 t bone steaks all from walmart and purchased at nearly 50% off of the regular price of like $12.97/LB check out the walmart fillet minions they also have petite fillets, black angus fillets are regular price in the $26 and $27/LB range. AND I am over 60 so I didnt start eating beef! I have been eating beef since the early 60's and no thanks on the grass feed beef!
