Does 8 1/4” Aluminum Siding Exist? Has it ever Existed?
The aluminum siding on my girlfriend’s house is probably 40+ years old. She’s lost a few of the corner caps and is looking to replace them. I’ve measured a cap that came off and it’s 8 1/4” in height. Either I’m measuring incorrectly, I’m measuring the wrong thing, or they simply don’t make 8 1/4” aluminum siding anymore? 8” caps are easy to find and I’ve seen caps at 8”, 8.5”, but no 8 1/4”. Am I doing something wrong, or does 8 1/4” aluminum siding no longer available?
