I chose Sa Ugoy ng Duyan because it reminds me of my mommy. The song tells about a child remembering the comfort of a mother’s care, those quiet moments of being held, soothed, and loved without needing to ask.
Even if you don’t understand Tagalog, you can feel the softness of it. For me, it brings back memories of how my mom made everything feel safe and okay, even on hard days. That kind of love… stays with you, no matter how old you get.
