I’m planning a trip to Chile this winter. After visiting Easter Island and seeing the main attractions around Santiago and Valparaíso, I’ll have about 5–6 extra days and would love to spend them exploring Chile’s famous night skies.
I’ve heard that Chile is one of the best places in the world for stargazing, with tons of observatories and astro-tourism options. I’m especially interested in guided tours, local observatories open to visitors, or even independent guides who organize astronomy experiences.
Thanks a lot in advance! Any insights or first-hand experiences would be super helpful. #travel
