Why is one side of the Mississippi River flat, and the other side hilly?
I work for a company in South Louisiana and I travel across the state very often, I just passed over the Mississippi River near Concordia Louisiana and I notice the LA side of the river is flat as far as you can see, and the moment I get in Mississippi, it's super hilly. Why the sudden change on different sides of the river?
