Garmin Enduro 3 or Amazfit Trex 3 Pro?
I wanted to gift someone who loves hiking a watch but im not sure which to get. I know the price difference is huge but there a few reasons why i considered the amazfit:
1. The guy is a 55yrs old japanese and is planning to hike in Japan. Is the gps in the watches accurate for mountain hikes in Japan? I looked up on some info and some said there are a few steps like things to be installed in the Enduro 3 (international version) in order to get the map for Japan, while it is not necessary for Trex 3 Pro since it is more compatible with localized satellite and navigation apps. Is this true? The guy isnt very tech-savvy so I would prefer something that is more simple for his usage.
2. How about hikes in other countries like Mt. Kinabalu (Malaysia)?
