People always underestimate me because I look “too cute”
People often describe me as really cute and shy at first, but then they realize there’s also a very intense, explosive, kind of “crazy” side underneath. Not crazy in a fake edgy way, but more like… emotionally intense, fearless, and not someone you should treat badly.
What frustrates me is that people often underestimate me because of how I look. I’m short, I have a cute face, soft voice, sweet behavior, and very harmless energy at first. Some people even think I’m pretending to be cute, when that’s literally just my natural personality.
But at the same time, I have a very strong character, and if someone disrespects me or pushes me too far, the switch is very real. I think the contrast genuinely shocks people.
I even got tattoos and piercings partly because I got tired of being perceived as weak or unserious all the time. The interesting thing is that emotionally intelligent people usually notice immediately that there’s something much stronger and darker underneath the soft exterior.
Does anyone else experience this? Like people see the cute/soft side first and completely misread who you actually are?
