Stingrays was spotted this morning at Grand Baie beach in the north of the island, calmly gliding through the shallow waters near the shore while people observed it safely from a distance. π
Itβs a gentle reminder that even the oceanβs βmysterious visitorsβ are usually just minding their own business. Stingrays arenβt out here plotting drama, theyβre mostly peaceful, bottom-dwelling creatures spending their day buried in sand or slowly cruising for snacks like small fish and crustaceans.
They only sting when they feel threatened, usually if someone accidentally steps on them or gets a bit too curious. So really, the rule is simple, respect their space, and theyβll continue living their best peaceful underwater life, and you get to keep yours sting-free. π
