Volunteer opportunities downtown
I moved to Denver with my partner this summer and I’m looking for good organizations to volunteer with. My partner moved here for grad school and will be quite busy soon, while I am working from home and want to make sure I don’t get too cooped up (also, volunteering is fun!)
I live in the central business district and I’d prefer to be able to walk or bus, but I do have access to a car for the right fit.
I have availability after 3 PM on weekdays, and very free weekends.
My specialized skills are accounting and tax, but does not need to involve those. I am good with people and fairly extroverted. I’m in my early thirties and I can do physical labor if needed. I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community. I’m good with animals, especially dogs, and I don’t have any allergies.
If you could drop the names of any orgs that come to mind that would be amazing so I don’t start the search cold. Thank you!!
