Carpenters/builders:To your younger self …
If you were to give ANY advice to either your younger self when you were starting off or any young person starting now: what would you tell them , what would you recommend they do, and what would you warn them against?
I’m 26 in CO and am going to get my contractors license in my county soon… at least that’s the plan. Grown up doing carpentry and carpentry adjacent work, dad’s a sub, but we’re butting heads and it’s time for me to move in to my own. I’ve learned a lot from him in both what to and what not to do , that being said, there’s still an infinite amount I can still learn…. So, what would you tell your younger self?
