Travel Ban for Assault
Hi everyone.
My cousin was on holiday in Dubai, she got into a physical altercation with another woman. They both sustained some injuries and bleeding, but not life threatening.
My cousin is currently on a travel ban and running out of funds, she is a British citizen.
How long does it typically take for this to go through Dubai courts? What happens if she can't afford a lawyer? Is a lawyer mandatory?
Can the British government help with accomodation?
Yes - she's been an extremely silly woman(!)
