My last job is in a big hot desk workplace, while my current job the desks are all assigned. After doing my current job for 5 months, I really miss hotdesking. I could sit far away from the colleagues in my team and everyone around me is a stranger. I weren't forced to hear meaningless gossips, I could do my job quietly without too much interruption. When there are not much work to do, I could scroll my phone for a while and didn't have to worry about my manager noticing me coz he's miles away. The office of my last job is near a harbour, if I was lucky enough, I could pick a window seat and enjoy the magnificent skyline of my city. Hotedesking is relaxing af. The only bad thing of hotdesking I can think of is that it may takes one several minutes to find a teammate to chat face to face, but this is just minor. Whoever invented the concept of hotdesking is a legend. #conversation source
