Being a left-hander in a world designed mostly for right-handed people can make many simple daily tasks surprisingly difficult.
From writing and using scissors to desks, tools, devices, and door handles, left-handed people often have to adapt to things that were not designed for them.
✍️ For this activity, I used my left hand to write my username, the activity hashtag, and today’s date.
1️⃣ What challenges do left-handed people face in daily life?
Left-handed people may struggle with writing materials, scissors, desks, tools, and other objects designed mainly for right-handed users. Even simple tasks can sometimes feel uncomfortable or require extra adjustment.
2️⃣ Have I ever seen a situation where being left-handed made an ordinary task more difficult?
Yes. I have seen left-handed people face difficulties while using right-handed scissors, desks, and certain writing tools. These small challenges can make ordinary tasks less comfortable for them.
