For the love of God if you haven't played the Dead Space Remake, go do it now!
I finally got around to playing the Dead Space Remake and if you've been sleeping on it, do yourself a favor and play it!
This is genuinely one of the best sci-fi games I've ever experienced. The ship feels like a real place,a huge sci-fi setting you can freely explore with almost no restrictions. Every corridor, engine room, tram station, and living quarter is packed with incredible detail. The graphics are absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is chef's kiss. Even if you're not a huge horror fan, at its core, this is an incredible sci-fi experience with amazing world-building, exploration, and immersion. If you love science fiction, you'll appreciate just being able to walk through and experience this massive spaceship and interact with it.
The remake sets such a high bar for what a modern sci-fi game should look and feel like. If you're a sci-fi fan, you owe it to yourself to play this game.
