There's so much out there in the field of AI, but not what I'm looking for. :(
It really shouldn't be a problem for an AI to take a finished vocal track and add the appropriate instruments based on a genre or description. Apparently, no one has programmed that yet. The only option available is the exact opposite: you upload an instrumental track, and the AI generates the vocals. But I need exactly the opposite... sigh.

suno now offers it. i tried it for a friend. but what i did in his case was upload the original song and asked it to 'cover it'. But, suno now offers a way to use your voice.

Supposedly, yes... but you can only try it out if you sign up for a subscription. I'm not buying a pig in a poke...
Hm...when I upload my vocals and choose cover...then I get a complete new song...with other vocals... :(
I can upload my voice for a sample....but it always crashes... the upload don´t work. AND That´s not the same... like when I sing a song and want to add instrumental accompaniment to it.
I wanted to re-record some things I did years ago with new instrumentation but was unable to find an AI program to add the instruments to a pre-recorded (or live) vocal
