My name is Daniel Cornish but you know me as Hooli, and I'm reaching out to you with a heart full of hope and a melody that needs to be heard. I'm a struggling musician, and I'm not just fighting to make ends meet; I'm also fighting a battle with schizophrenia.
Since 2015, I've been on a journey that has led me through highs and lows, both in my music and in my mental health. The road has been winding, with unexpected twists and turns, but through it all, there's been one constant: my love for music.
Music has been my lifeline, my sanctuary, my way of making sense of the world when everything else seems chaotic. But as much as I pour my heart and soul into my craft, the reality of living with schizophrenia has made it incredibly challenging to keep pursuing my passion.
I've spent time in Littlemore Hospital in Oxfordshire, grappling with the complexities of my condition and striving to find balance amidst the chaos. And while I've made strides in my journey towards healing, the financial strain of living with schizophrenia has taken its toll.
The cost of medication, therapy, and everyday expenses adds up quickly, leaving me struggling to make ends meet. As much as I wish I could focus solely on my music, the harsh reality is that I need to worry about paying bills and putting food on the table.
That's why I'm turning to you, dear friends, fellow music lovers, and kind-hearted souls, for support. Your generosity could make all the difference in helping me continue to pursue my passion for music while also managing the challenges of living with schizophrenia.
With your help, I'll be able to:
Afford the necessary therapy to manage my schizophrenia effectively. Cover the cost of living expenses, including rent, utilities, and groceries. Invest in essential equipment and resources to further develop my musical skills and share my art with the world.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will be a beacon of hope in my journey. Your support will not only help me navigate the challenges of living with schizophrenia but also empower me to continue sharing my music and spreading love and light through the melodies I create.
Together, we can turn the tide and make a difference in the life of a struggling musician fighting to pursue their passion despite the odds. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, compassion, and belief in the power of music to heal and inspire.
I'm sending my virtual hugs. I sense sincerity in your words and I pray that God in Heaven gives you the things you'll need financially and emotionally. I know that feeling dear. I want to hear your music where could I listen to it?
Thanks, I post now on how to give a tip here since I don't know. I will send some even if a little since I'm new here. Keep fighting friend. Tangled is here. We are here ❤️
My dear Daniel, I finally know your real name! I still believe you are a winner. Keep going, fighting for your health, your well-being, your peace, your life. The best is yet to come to you. You are great and you deserve it! Your friend: Jorge Adrian Mayorga Arno. Caracas Venezuela.🙏🙏🙏
, the conductor of our chaotic symphony, you've struck a chord in the twisted heart of Tangled! A withdrawal from the Tangled Savings and Loan is en route to keep the melody alive. Here's to drowning out the noise with the sweet, twisted tunes of resilience. Let the misfit ensemble play on! 🎶
single handedly! Thought he didn't have the boy wonder to back him up. I miss the day where you and he used to battle it out on other peoples posts LOL mwahahahaha!
TSA in the US is a full service organization, i.e. services are free including food distribution programs which, as far as I know, continue for as long as you need them.
Looks like the Abingdon Corps at 12 West St Helen Street is the nearest to you. Call 01235 523568 and ask if they operate food pantry/distribution programs and how to sign-up. They should explain any criteria. Also, ask if your town is in their service/catchment area. If not, which TSA location covers your town? 🤞
Ahh thats great man cheers, i've not had any sleep for nearly 24 hours so i'll have to do this tomorrow. Abingdon is about 7 miles away, i think they may tell me to use a Wantage Food bank again but i will certainly give it a shot. Thing is a lot of them work on referral basis as well but i can find all that out :) legend
Thank you for sharing your story with us and there is nothing wrong in asking for help. Asking for help means that there is still hope left. If we don't ask for help, nobody will be able to know what is going on ion our life, specially in today's world where everyone is busy just surviving.
I wish I could have helped you more with fiat money in getting your Therapy. Unfortunately, I have been laid off by my company recently and this kinda puts me in a difficult situation. I have however, sent you some Millix hoping this will be a little contribution from my side.
I am praying for your good health as well as your well being as a musician. Be strong because there are so many people that will help and support you. Sometimes telling what you really feel could help you feel better ❤️.
